The first Mildreds opened its doors on Greek Street in 1988. Their ambition was to serve delicious vegetarian fare to Soho's discerning inhabitants and nighthawks that defied bland stereotypes. Over 35 years later, they've expanded beyond their Soho roots with restaurants across London in Covent Garden, Camden Town, Kings Cross, Dalston and Victoria. Each location offers exceptional hospitality alongside an adventurous menu of globally inspired food and drink. Most significantly, they evolved beyond vegetarian, embracing a completely plant-based approach in 2021. With bestselling cookbooks and expansion plans, they aim to ensure incredible vegan food is accessible everywhere. Though larger now, their vision remains straightforward: fantastic food and drink for everyone that happens to be vegan, with a seasonal all-day menu. Their guests evidently approve, naming Mildreds London's favourite vegan restaurant in 2023.
